In this episode I chat with Kara Ockendon, a qualified lawyer, intuitive and writer, who experienced a life-threatening health crisis at only 32 years old which changed the trajectory of her life.
Kara's decision to delay treatment in order to become a mother, as she'd always wanted to be, turned out to be a gift for many reasons. We talked about how Kara navigated this difficult time in her life and, in addition to medical intervention, how she learned to find her own way of healing, which she now shares to inspire others coping with similar challenges.
Kara and I are both contributing authors to the book Mothers Making a Difference, amongst 21 women who have shared their stories of transforming pain into purpose. Mothers Making a Difference is launched on Wednesday 5 May 2021.
