Fellow life coach and BYCA graduate, Annie Gichuru was born in Kenya and has called Australia home for the past 20 years. She lives with her husband and two young children. In this episode, we talk about what it was like for Annie to grow up in Kenya, the bullying she experienced at school, beginning a new life in Australia and how motherhood has changed her. We also talk about the important work she does serving migrant women of colour, through her coaching and uplifting documentaries, to chase their dreams and be all they can be. Annie Gichuru is the founder of Uplifting Studios, a platform dedicated to supporting migrant women of colour. As a life coach and the producer and host of Uplifting Studios TV, Annie teaches how to unshackle self-limiting beliefs. Now in Season 2, Uplifting Studios TV is founded on positive storytelling, showcasing inspiring stories through guest interviews and documentaries. Motivated by those facing the same challenges she faced, Annie believes your future can be one of purpose and impact.
