Episode 5: Cultivating Courage with Karen McCarthy

When surgery to remove a brain tumour came with complications that required six months in hospital recovering and left her blind, Karen McCarthy had to work out what was truly important in order to keep going. In this episode, we discuss how her blindness has impacted her life, career and family, how she's gathered strength and support, and the adventures she's had along the way.

Karen and I have been friends for a reeeeeally long time, so I was delighted she could be one of the first people I interviewed for the podcast. I've no doubt her courage will inspire you.

You can find Karen via her website or LinkedIn profile.
