nicholas: If ever I can’t find you, you have usually returned to your bedroom, climbed up on your chair and have delved into the pile of books on your bedside table to find just the right book to read. You are my little book worm and that makes me very happy.
charlie: After campaigning for a good year or so, we finally granted Sam’s wish for the ‘Skylander Swapforce’ game and were thankful for the gift of a pre-loved Wii console, from our friends, on which to play the game. The Wii was a big hit with you from the moment we fired it up and it was actually really lovely to watch you and Sam helping each other work out how to play it.
sam: Our biggest boy turned six this weekend, and you were pretty happy to play the lead role in the Festival of Sam. We are so thankful for you in our lives and you continue to show us what an awesome kid you are. We are so proud of you and your generous, nurturing, clever, friendly, joyful spirit, and we’re loving witnessing the amazing young man you are becoming. (More on the big sixth birthday to come in a future post).

Precious little fellas.
I so get why Nicholas’ love of books fills you with joy. Of all the things I hope my children might love, books is probably the ultimate. I could not live without the magic of books.
My goodness, Charlie is your twin, Annie. What a babe.
Happy Birthday, Sam! So grown up. xx
Love it! Wade is the same with books. Love hearing him ‘read’ to himself in fervent babble!
