15/52

52-15-2charlie: I thought you looked so beautiful and colourful adorned in Care Bears (a beautiful gift of a ‘Care Bear Stare’ from Aunty Jen as we prepared for the arrival of our first baby, six years ago), which normally hangs on the end of Nicholas’ cot. I am enjoying having my boys home on school holidays, but you and Sam have been a little extra crazy this week and tend to turn the house upside down by the end of each day.

sam: In years to come, you may look back on this moment as an example of child labour, but you just love to help and mowing is no exception. As soon as you heard that Dad was about to mow, you got your work boots on and were outside in a flash, ready to offer assistance.

52-15-1nicholas: I regularly feel like my heart is going to explode with love for you and your delightfulness. You love to crawl and climb and roll and pretend to sleep and giggle on our bed. Thankfully you’re pretty aware of where the edges are, and your latest trick is to ‘safety slide’ on your tummy off the side of the bed when you’re ready to get down. Oh, and I promise to get you to a hairdresser soon, before you can no longer see 😉
