sam: A quiet afternoon at home followed a morning of chemo. You are starting to look like a gangster with all those Rainbow Loom bracelets. One of the girls you met at the hospital this week even made you your first necklace.
nicholas: Those big brothers are such a good source of entertainment and amusement. While you all drive each other nuts at times, the love between you is so evident. As crazy as it is to be a parent of three small boys some days, it is worth it to witness the relationship between three brothers grow.
charlie: As the first school term drew to a close, we celebrated Easter a little early at kindy this week. Nicholas and I were lucky enough to be on roster at kindy with you on the final day of term and share in the Easter celebrations. There was apparently even a sighting of the Easter bunny, which was very exciting, and I loved watching your eyes light up as you followed footprints through the gardens and collected Easter eggs with the kids.
Joining in the 52 Project at Practising Simplicity ~ a portrait of each of my boys every week in 2014.
Aw! What sweet boys! My nephew is an ALL survivor https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/austinfitzgerald. He just celebrated his three years off chemo date the other day. I’ve watched a family go through this and know how difficult it is. Though not with a first hand knowledge, of course. My prayers are with you and your family.
Thanks Amber. It’s sweet of you to stop by and say hi. We always love hearing about people who are on the other side of chemo treatments and doing well. Thanks for your prayers, and ours are with your nephew for continued good health xx
What beautiful boys you have! And what an incredible mum they have. I’m glad I found your blog through Jodi. x
It’s a magic little community that develops around Jodi and the 52 Project, isn’t it? I started participating in the 52 Project simply for the structure of posting weekly, but the community spirit has been a definite bonus I wasn’t expecting. I love seeing all those beautiful photos each week. Thank you for finding me and saying hi xx
I love the picture of Nicholas! I’m just discovering how wonderful it is to watch a sibling relationship develop. It’s, like, totally the greatest, right? Best wishes for Sam, xx
