nicholas: My baby boy turned two this week. We didn’t do anything particularly big and exciting to mark the occasion, but I loved watching you rip the paper off your presents and ‘ooooh’ in approval at just the right moments. Surprisingly, I haven’t been feeling sad that my last baby is growing up, as it’s just amazing being able to witness you grow and develop and come into your own. You are such a blessing in our lives.
Sam: You’re looking so grown up, dressed and ready for your very first school dance. While originally not interested in dressing up for the occasion, you were delighted when a special friend loaned you a Japanese outfit for the ‘international’ themed disco, aptly planned for Harmony Day. You had such a fun time.
charlie: Oh Charlie Bear, our big four year old, what a beautiful boy you are. Given you normally avoid the camera at all costs, I love seeing your cheeky, cheesy grin in this photo. We had lots of fun celebrating your fourth birthday this week and managed to fill your special day with all your favourite things – superheroes, ice blocks, Lego, a movie, and lots of playing. You have grown up so much in the past year, but you are still very much our cheeky chops.
