The Highly Anticipated Arrival

It seems amazing that this time one whole week ago I had a very strong suspicion that we were going to welcome our baby into the world, and in a few short hours he had arrived. There is so much to say, so many photos of our little blonde cherub to bombard you with, but until I find the right words, I will leave you with a joyful announcement. He is here.

Nicholas Fenton Angus Love was born at 2.55am on 20 March 2012 weighing 3800gm (8pds 6ozs) and 52 cm long. He is divine, and we have been blessed with a very healthy boy who is feeding, settling and sleeping beautifully. His two big brothers are already besotted, and his parents are feeling very lucky to have three little Loves to love.

Thank you for welcoming Nicholas into our family with love and excitement.

  1. Welcome to the club!!
My favorite Ds quote: “We often think that having a child with T21 {Trisomy 21, aka Down syndrome} is like gaining membership to a secret club, a club you never knew you wanted to be in or even existed, but once you are in, you are so thankful that you were chosen.”

I am so grateful for your thoughts and comments, so please reply below.
